Alice In Wonderland

This movie is directed by Tim Burton and is to be released on March 15th, 2010. Just like James Cameron's Avatar, it is a combination of 3D animation and live action. Alice (Mia Wasikowska) returns to "Wonderland", this magical world she first visited as a little girl. There, she gets on a fantastical adventure with her old friends the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), the White Rabbit (Michael Sheen), Tweedledee and Tweedledum (Matt Lucas), the Cheshire Cat (Stephen Fry), the Caterpillar (Alan Rickman), and the Dormouse (Barbara Windsor), where she finds out that her true destiny is to end the reign of the cruel Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter). Also appearing in the movie are the White Queen (Anne Hathaway), the Knave of Hearts (Crispin Glover), and many more.

Alice Kingsley, after her first experience, returns to Wonderland. She is now 19 years old, and has more abilities than the Alice that was represented in the previous movies.

The Mad Hatter is Alice's ally in this fantasy adventure, and unlike the previous representations of the character which would only stick to being mad all the time, you can see the human side of the Mad Hatter.

Iracebeth the Red Queen is the main villain of the movie. She's the older sister of the White Queen which is played by Anne Hathaway. One noticeable fact about the Red Queen is that sh hates animals. She express this hatred by using the animals as furniture. You can see that in one of the trailers of the movie (bottom of the post), where the Red Queen needs something to put her feet on and they bring her a pig to do so.

The head of the army of Iracebeth the Red Queen is Ilosovic Stayne, also known as the Knave of Hearts, whose height goes up to seven feet and six inches. He obeys the Red Queen's every order. He has a scarred face, and his eye is covered with a heart-shaped patch.

The Last Airbender

This movie is set to be released on July 2nd, 2010 and is written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan:
The movie is also known as Avatar, the last airbender, not to be confused with the James Cameron movie Avatar which was released in December 2009:
In the beginning, there were four populations; the population of the airbenders who could manipulate the air:
The population of the waterbenders who could manipulate water:
The populnation of the earthbenders who could manipulate earth
And the population of the firebenders who could manipulate fire:
Suddenly, the nation of the firebenders, nation of Prince Zuko (Dev Patel), started a war against all the others, and this destruction process continued for a whole century
But when a young avatar named Aang (Noah Ringer) discovered his ability to manipulate all four elements, he joined a waterbender named Katara (Nicola Peltz) and her brother Sokka (Jackson Rathbone) in a quest to end this menace spreaded by the fire nation

Percy Jackson And The Olympians: The Lightning Thief

This movie is based on a best-selling fantasy-adventure children series, which is Rick Riordan's "Percy Jackson and the Olympians". To be more precise, the movie is based on the first book of the series titled The Lightning Thief. The movie is directed by Chris Colombus, director of Home Alone, Harry Potter and the sorcerer stone, and Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets. The screenplay based on the novel is made by Craig Titley, and the soundtrack of the movie is made by Christophe Beck aka Chris Beck, who also worked on famous movies such as bring it on (2000), American wedding (2003), waiting for Superman (2010), and the TV series Buffy the vampire slayer for which he won an Emmy Award.

In the 21st century, there is a major crisis between the gods of Mount Olympus also known as the Olympians. They're unhappy because Zeus(Sean Bean)' lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman), a high school student who will later discover that he is the son of Poseidon, is their main suspect. Because of this whole missunderstanding, the newly discovered demigod (Percy Jackson) will have to search for the missing thunderbolt and give it back to its owner in order to prove his innocence. He will have to face many great dangers, and he will even be attacked by monsters such as Medusa (Uma Thurman). The gods appearing in the movie include: Aphrodite (Serinda Swan), Apollo (Dimitri Lekkos), Ares, Artemis (Ona Grauer), Athena (Melina Kanakaredes), Demeter (Stefanie Von Pfetten), Hades (Steve Coogan), Hephaestus (Conrad Coates), Hera (Erica Cerra), Hermes (Dylan Neal), Hestia, Persephone (Rosario Dawson), Poseidon (Kevin McKidd), Zeus (Sean Bean).

Also, Percy's mother, Sally Jackson (Catherine Keener), disappears mysteriously. Having to face multiple problems at once, he will engage himself in a thrilling adventure with his friends, looking for his missing mother, and trying to find the true lightning thief and give the lightning bolt back to Zeus in order to take all accusations off him and most-importantly in order to prevent an upcoming war between the Olympians.
