Clive Nicoli (Adrien Brody) and Elsa Kast (Sarah Polley) are a young couple, attached to each other by both the bonds of love and the bonds of science. In their scientific career, they specialize in genetic engineering. They are very well known for their achievements in the field, to which they are very dedicated.

Eventually, this dedication led them to start doing unauthorized experiments, which involved manipulating DNA in order to create new species, which they thought were very promising for the future of mankind. They were so successful in this project that one day, they decided to introduce human DNA into one of their newfound species, creating a never-before-seen hybrid with apparently much more potential than a human himself.

Their new hybrid grew very quickly, and was seen as a big step for humanity in the science field. They gave her the name Dren [child Dren (Abigail Chu)].

However, though Elsa loved and took care of Dren as her own child, Clive started to fear that she would eventually become a threat for them. Indeed, as the hybrid came closer to her full growth [grown Dren (Delphine Chanéac)], she made a final unexpected metamorphosis and became more violent, proving all of Clive's suspicions correct, and becoming a potential threat to mankind.

MacGruber

This movie is written by Will Forte, John Solomon, and Jorma Taccone who is also the director. It is set to be released on May 21st, 2010.
Jorma Taccone
The character MacGruber was oroginally created in the NBC late night live comedy show Saturday Night Live (SNL). MacGruber was a parody of the famous TV series of the 80's and 90's, MacGyver, starring Richard Dean Anderson.

Ever since his fiancee died 10 years earlier, MacGruber (Will Forte) dedicated his whole life to fighting crime, but in an unorthodox way: he fought crime with his bare hands.

MacGruber was the only man in the world who had earned the rank of green beret, navy seal, and US ranger, and received 16 purple hearts, 3 congressional medals of honor, and 7 presidential medals of bravery.

One day, a nuclear warhead got stolen from the USA by his worst enemy, Dieter Von Cunth (Val Kilmer), whose main goal was to destroy Washington D.C. Therefore, the United States were in desperate need for a hero.

Since MacGruber was unique in his rank when it came to national heroes, he figured he was the only one suitable for the job. He teamed up with lieutenant Dixon Piper (Ryan Phillippe) and Vicki St. Elmo (Kristen Wiig), two qualified experts who would help him bring back the warheads and bring Dieter to justice.

Robin Hood

Written by Brian Helgeland

Release date: May 14, 2010 (USA) | May 12th, 2010 (UK)

This movie is the latest of many filmed versions of the story of the legendary Robin Hood. However, this version tells the untold story of the legend. The story takes place in England, in the 13th century. Robin Hood, whose real name is Robin Longstride (Russell Crowe), was a very talented archer who was previously at the service of king Richard aka Richard Coeur De Lion or Richard The Lionheart (Danny Huston) and participated in his army against the French.

After the death of the king, Robin left and went to a town named Nottingham. This town was ruled by a selfish sheriff (Matthew Macfadyen) who only spread corruption in the village, augmented taxes, and made the lives of the people miserable. Robin decided then to join a group of mercenaries whom he would lead in a quest to regain justice and peace in Nottingham.

Meanwhile, Robin fell deeply in love with Lady Marion aka Maid Marion whose full name is Marion Loxley (Cate Blanchett), a widow who was still doubtful about the origins and the purpose of Robin in the village.

In their pursuit of justice, Robin and his marauders gave themselves the mission of protecting their country, which was weak and endangered, ruled by an ineffective kingdom. They vowed to protect their homeland, give it back its old glory, and keep a civil war from delenching in it.
