This movie is directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud. It is set to be released on July 9th, 2010. Gru (Steve Carell) is a supervillain, a criminal mastermind who lives with his small minions in a vast underground secret lab.
Being a supervillain, he is working on his latest scheme, the biggest theft in the history of thefts: he is planning on stealing the moon.
Gru never had a biggest challenge before, until he meets three little orphans who look up to him as their dad. The three little girls are Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier), and Agnes (Elsie Fisher), and they are indeed the biggESt challenge that Gru, the world's greatest supervillain has ever faced.
